Fingerprinting
It is also important to keep in mind that volunteering is a privilege, not a right, and it comes with responsibilities, especially when serving children and/or vulnerable adults. First and foremost being successfully passing a background check every five years and maintaining an active and up to date Virtus account. You may see your status by logging into your Virtus account to access your Training Report.
Church Personnel and Covered Volunteers must register online by accessing www.fieldprintflorida.com and following these instructions:
PARISH VOLUNTEERS
Here is how to schedule a fingerprinting appointment:
- Log onto the https://florida.fieldprint.com/ website to schedule their appointment.
- Click “Schedule An Appointment”.
- In the Reason why you need to be fingerprinted screen; the applicant will select the web link: I know my Fieldprint Code.
- Provide the applicant with the following access code(s), which they will input on the website to gain access to the online scheduling tool:
FPAOMParishVol
Please note the access code IS case sensitive. - Your registrants will create a secure username/password and enter our system. They will provide their contact and demographic info. The information requested on the scheduling site is the information required by FDLE/FBI in order to process the criminal search. This is the same information required to be completed by the representative on “the old” ink hard cards.
- From this point forward the website will prompt the representative for the required information to find a local collection facility and schedule an appointment. Instructions, directions, maps, and photos will all be provided directly online.
